Beauty School Dropouts was born from a love of makeup, creativity, and doing things a little differently. I’ve been a professional makeup artist since 2009, and in 2022 I decided it was time to take my craft on the road.
The idea? A fully mobile beauty studio built inside a converted American school bus.

from school bus to glam dream on wheels
After gaining my HGV licence, learning everything there is to know about buses, and importing one by container ship, Mavis came to life.
She was expertly converted by Shred and Butta, renowned for their bold vehicle transformations and featured on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and Johnny Vegas’ Field of Dreams.

Inside, Mavis is a glam dream on wheels. The bus features:

We cater for kids’ pamper parties, hen dos, proms, festivals, corporate events, makeup masterclasses, and adult pamper parties.
Launches in February 2026, ready to park up and bring the party wherever it’s needed.

Bridal makeup trial. Come and spend a couple of hours in the studio where will work together to create your dream look for the day. Whether you are a makeup lover or more of a lipgloss and mascara kind of gal, we’ll take our time and get you feeling ready for the main event. You can bring guests with you too if you like (extra guests can also have a trial if they would like, we can add this to the package)

Bridal makeup on the day- we’ve made the plan, now it’s time for the big day. Relax and enjoy and let the experience unfold around you.

Makeup for three bridesmaids and one Mum. Show the ones you love feel on such a big day is hugely important. We will have them feeling happy, confident and ready for all those photos.

Exclusive use of the Beauty School Dropouts bus during makeup services. Every wedding is different, but bringing joy, fun and something a bit unexpected is what we do.

Beauty isn’t all about the one day. We can offer night-before wedding prep in studio, from nails, spray tans, body scrubs and pedicures to full glow-up sessions. The morning after, the bus becomes a calm reset space with relaxing, detoxifying treatments. We can also arrange barbers and traditional shaves for male guests — a treat for the boys is important too!
